I love it that Cynthia gives each of her kids when they turn 1 year old their very own cake to just dig into. Spencer thought he had died and gone to heaven. He would have eaten the entire thing too if Cynthia had not decided that he had eaten enough. And let me tell you....when she pulled that cake away from him...he was maaaaaad.

I don't understand giving a whole cake to babies. I mean we don't eat that much cake. I guess I'm a mean mom that way. My kids get a slice of cake or a cupcake. That's it. It's still fun to see them eat it.
that's the only reason...it is a great photo op...no other reason...and yes...I could eat that much cake...I am a birthday cake freak.
